To approximately 700 m from the center of the country this
elegant B&B rises, a villa dipped in the green.
The rooms are furnished with elegance,
in the respect of the shapes and the wide and luminous materials
of the territory; they are all equipped of private services,
telephone and air conditioning.
La finestra sull'Etna then offers
the possibility to "leave to pass the time"
in the beautiful common premises ground level: the "living
room" is dedicated to the tasting of a
breakfast with typical products of the territory and the region;
the "relax room" with
its comfortable sofa is dedicated for the conversation, to
read or to relax watching the fire, tasting a cake; the
"garden" with English green
allows to enjoy the Sicilian warm sun and the fresh air of
the mountain.
Nicolosi, "door
of Etna", graceful mountain center, rises
to the feet of the "Mongibello"
to 702 m on the level of the see and it’s distant 12
km approximately from the ski station Etna South and to 13
km from Catania; it must its name
to the Benedictine Monastery dedicated
to Saint Nicholas, erected in the
country in XII century and of which still today the ruin can
be admired.
Here nature and history from always present two various
aspects of the same truth: lava that destroys and man who
built , with the same lava stone, its country, its house...
with those poor materials that the surrounding nature offers
to it, but that they are rich of quality and variations. |

Environ à 700 m du centre du pays se trouve cet élégant
B&B, une villa plongée dans le vert. Les
chambres sont meublée avec goût,
dans le respect des formes et des matériels du territoire;
vastes et lumineuses elles sont toutes dotées de services
privés, téléphone et air conditionnée.

offre aussi la possibilité de "laisser passer
le temps" dans les beaux locaux communs du ré
de chaussé ;« le séjour »
est dédié à la dégustation d'un
petit déjeuner à l'ancienne avec des produits
typiques du territoire et de la région ; la «
salle relax » accueillante avec ses confortables
divans pour converser, lire ou regarder le feu, en goûtant
une tranche de tarte à peine défournée
; « le jardin » avec
le pré anglais permet de jouir de la chaleur du soleil
sicilien et de l’air fraîche de la montagne.
Nicolosi, gracieux centre montagnard, aux
"portes de l’Etna",
se trouve aux pieds du "Mongibello"
; à 702 m s.n.m. et est distant 12 km environ de la
station de ski Etna Sud et à 13 km de Catane;
il doit son nom au Monastère
dédié à San Nicola,
érigé dans le pays dans le XII siècle
et dont encore aujourd'hui on peut admirer les ruines.
Ici nature et histoire depuis toujours apparaissent sous deux
aspects différents d'une même réalité
: la lave qui détruit et l’homme qui reconstruit
et construit, avec la même pierre de lave, son pays,
sa maison... avec ces matériels pauvres que la nature
environnante lui offrent, mais qui sont riches de qualité
et de variations. |
